AtheNA Multi-Lyte®
The state-of-the-art AtheNA Multi-Lyte® system is an advanced, multiplex, microsphere-based immunoassay, with antigen-coated Micro-Plex™ microspheres that flow through the flow cell for identification and discrete analysis for simultaneous measurement of multiple analytes from one sample, in one well. The AtheNA Multi-Lyte® system's autoimmune and infectious disease menu offered through Alere has recently expanded to include new assays to allow for more multiplex infectious disease testing; Borrelia VlsE-1/pepC10 and pepC10 IgM (Lyme disease), ToRCH IgG – Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus (CMV) and HSV-1 IgG & HSV-2 IgG, and Treponema pallidum IgG. The assays can be used for screening or as an aid in diagnosis of the presence of these infectious diseases.

Our Weight Talk® Program is designed to help participants adopt healthy behaviors that lead to weight loss, better overall health, and reduced risk of chronic disease. Through a combination of phone-based coaching and web-based education, participants learn to make better decisions about nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Participants’ biometric and behavioral progress is surveyed at regular intervals during the course of the program. 80% of participants lose weight on the program, and 55% lose more than 5% of their weight.
