Rebecca Bruzek
Vice President, Product Management, Women's and Children's Health
Ms. Bruzek has more than ten years of business experience in software development and in project and product management. In her current role, Ms. Bruzek is responsible for managing the Women’s & Children’s Health product suite. This includes business development, a long-term strategy for innovation as defined in one-, five- and ten-year roadmaps. The responsibilities require using technology to become the industry leader in enrollment and engagement. Previously, Ms. Bruzek served as Director, Application Development for the internal clinical system and external participant website beginning in October 2005.
Prior to joining Alere, Ms. Bruzek owned a software firm, Watermark Solutions, an eBay solution provider responsible for custom auction management solutions for eBay sellers. Privately owned and self-funded, the company earned $600,000 in annual revenue. One of the projects for eBay was to create a virtual Memory game, eBay Flippy Cards. Being an entrepreneur, Ms. Bruzek gained experience in business development, change leadership and growth plans. Before running her own business, Ms. Bruzek was responsible for collaboration technology at Kraft Foods. This role focused on research and development for instant messaging, collaboration and email technology. Ms. Bruzek earned a bachelor-of-science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
