Al Evans
Vice President, Finance, Women's & Children's Health

Mr. Evans has served as Vice President of Finance for Women’s & Children’s Health since March 2009. In this position, he is responsible for the overall financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis within the division. Before joining Alere Women’s & Children’s Health, Mr. Evans served for seven years at Facet Technologies, first as Vice President of Finance and then as CFO beginning in September 2006 upon its sale from Matria Healthcare to Waterstreet Capital Partners. Facet Technologies is the worldwide leader in the design, development and manufacturing of micro-sampling devices and supplies.

Prior to his role at Facet Technologies, Mr. Evans served in various divisional operational and finance roles for Matria Healthcare from 1993 to 2001. He has 30 years of experience in finance roles in consumer and industrial electronics, medical device and medical service industries.

Mr. Evans earned a master’s degree in business administration from Anna Maria College and a bachelor-of-science degree in management science from Bentley University.
