Robert Wittenstein
Senior Vice President, Data Services, Technology Solutions

Mr. Wittenstein joined Alere in September 2008 after serving as a Vice President at First Consulting Group (acquired by CSC in 2008), a $270 million public company focused on healthcare technology services, consulting and software products.  Mr. Wittenstein leads teams responsible for the accuracy, standardization and ingest of client data for Alere’s participant portals, Disease Management systems, Enrollment, Billing and Case Management systems. His teams are also responsible for condition identification and stratification for many of Alere’s chronic disease programs.

Mr. Wittenstein has 30 years of hands-on management and technical experience in healthcare information systems, electronic medical records, diagnostic medical images and telecommunications. In his role at FCG he was responsible for the company’s CMMi Level 5 software development organization in the United States, India and Vietnam. Prior to joining Paragon Solutions (acquired by FCG in 2003), Mr. Wittenstein was Vice President of Product Development for Infocure, a provider of Physician Office Management software. Prior experience includes technical and management positions working on The Precision Alternative (TPA) for Gerber Alley and the Electronic Patient Folder products for McKesson (formally HBOC).
