La valutazione delle prestazioni effettuata dall’OMS dimostra che la sensibilità analitica dei test più rapidi varia tra 2 e 10 UI/ml.2 Non mai è stato identificato alcun test rapido per l’uso con plasma, siero e sangue intero in grado di soddisfare il requisito di una sensibilità analitica minima di 0,13 UI/ml previsto dall’UE e dall’OMS3 fino ad oggi.
Determine™ HBsAg 2, con una sensibilità analitica di 0,1 UI/ml, è un test rapido a flusso laterale altamente sensibile e di facile uso, che consente una veloce e accurata identificazione dei pazienti positivi a HBsAg, aumentando le possibilità di individuare i casi di infezione da HBV e consentendo un trattamento tempestivo e adeguato in un'ampia gamma di contesti sanitari.
