Lipidprofil•GLU-kassett mäter det totala kolesterolet (TC), ett mått på den totala mängden kolesterol i blodet, High-Density lipoprotein (HDL) (det s.k. goda kolesterolet) och triglycerider eller TRG (fettsyror och glycerol som cirkulerar i blodet och lagras som kroppsfett) samt glukos (GLU), d.v.s. blodsockret. Lipidprofil•GLU beräknar också TC/HDL-kvoten, icke HDL-kolesterol och uppskattar nivån av LDL-kolesterol (”dåligt kolesterol”). Avsedd för användning med Cholestech LDX™-systemet.
